Dengue or Viral Fever? Know the difference
Spot the symptoms early with this clear comparison.
Fever is common, but knowing what kind of fever you’re dealing with can make a big difference. Dengue and viral fever share symptoms, yet they’re not the same, and early awareness is key.
Viral Fever (Common signs):
Mild to moderate fever
Runny nose or cough
Body ache and fatigue
Usually recovers in a few days with rest
Dengue (Warning signs):
Sudden high fever
Severe headache and pain behind the eyes
Intense joint and muscle pain
Nausea, vomiting, or rashes
If fever persists beyond two days or is accompanied by severe pain or weakness, consult a doctor immediately. Prevention is the best protection.
